The Story of PoolParty

PoolParty was born on a Friday night over dinner between Carson White and his father. The conversation circled around a shared frustration: why did so much of the entertainment world feel out of touch with the fans who fueled it? Favorite artists never toured the cities where their most loyal listeners lived. UFC fights that millions clamored for online never got booked. Concerts, matches, and shows were planned behind closed doors—fans were spectators in every sense of the word.

The question was simple: What if fans weren’t just consumers, but creators? What if the crowd itself could dictate what got made?

That same night, Carson picked up the phone and called long-time friend and business partner Jack Carlson. After listening to the idea, Jack didn’t hesitate: “I’m in.”

Within 48 hours—and after writing more than 18,000 lines of code—Carson had a working MVP of PoolParty live. It was raw, but it proved the concept: fans could pool their money to activate the events they actually wanted to see.

From there, Carson and Jack doubled down. Together, they refined the platform into a system that could align fans, talent, and producers on the same page—a marketplace where “demand” didn’t just signal interest, it created supply.

Today, PoolParty is taking its first leap by partnering with emerging sports leagues. It’s a new model for how entertainment gets created: bottom-up, not top-down. Fans don’t just watch—they decide.

By fans. For fans.
